Recover Your Powerful Voice After Trauma

Do you hope to release the restrictions of the past and claim the full power of your voice?

When we experience trauma, it can have a restrictive effect on our voices. When we experience trauma before we finish developing, this restriction can be even more deeply set into our physical and emotional patterns. This can affect our ability to not only sing, but to breath, to speak, to trust ourselves, to express ourselves and to set healthy boundaries. It can be painful both emotionally and physically. However, old patterns can be released. New patterns can form. Recovery is possible and is our right. Our voices are important, and we can use them with grace, freedom, power and love.

It would be my honor to offer my gifts in service of your healing the effects of trauma on your voice, so you can be fully present in the power of who you are and what you have to offer.

Sometimes, we need recognition that what is blocking our progress is not purely physical. We have thoughts, and emotions, and spirits. We need support in moving forward on all levels.

Through my studies and practices, along with my experience as a singer who has experienced vocal trauma and as a human being who has experienced the effects of personal trauma, I have been developing an offering of supporting trauma recovery as it relates to the voice. I offer unique help, recognition, understanding, guidance and gentle work around healing the effects of emotional and physical stress and injury around one’s voice.

For me, recognizing, honoring and learning from the power of nature has been a beautiful part my personal journey. There is so much healing, resilience and wisdom in the world around us, from which we can learn, grow and heal. The path of my healing journey, the path of my growing creative empowerment and the path of my relationship with nature are all beautifully and inextricably intertwined. If interested, I would be happy to share more, and to encourage your relationship to the elements as part of your own journey towards vocal and personal empowerment.
