It made me laugh to see that Kate Earl song on here since it has been a surprising recurrent favorite of mine ever since I got it as a free iTunes download. Glad to know I'm not alone there. On the "indie" thing, for 2010 I am actually going to make a concerted effort to give more of a chance to "mainstream" pop and rock music than I have in the past couple of years. I'm reminding myself that it is just as lame to not give something a chance just because it _is_ widely popular as it is to deride things just because they don't sound like what gets played on the radio. "Indie" listeners like myself can get just as locked into a self-satisfied comfort zone as anyone else. Cool list.
